Samurai’s 25th anniversary Type II jacket is painstakingly made and all the more beautiful for it. Slowly woven on ultra low-tension shuttle looms, this 17oz selvedge denim has a wonderfully tactile hand that’s rich in slubby character and tactile variance. The threads that make up both the warp and weft of this textured weave have been immersed in natural indigo dyes of distinct concentrations for different durations of time. It’s a further artisanal flourish that achieves a range of sky blue “asagi” hues. In true Type II fashion, this jacket has a classically-informed fit that’s both cropped and subtly boxy - no handwarmer pockets on this one. Finished with contrast stitching and custom metal "rising sun" buttons.
Elliot wears a size 40 jacket. He is 185cm tall and weighs 74kg / 6ft 1" and 163 lbs.

- Measure from pit to pit and double the reading.
Stage 2: Shoulder

Stage 5: Length
Measure from the top of the shoulder by the collar to the bottom of the garment.
