By accessing our website you agree to our Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) set out below.

Changes to our Terms

We reserve the right, from time to time, with or without notice to you, to change these Terms and Conditions at our sole discretion. 

 The terms applicable to your access to and use of this website will be the current version. You must comply with the T&Cs that are displayed on each date that you access the website. By using the Rivet & Hide website after changes are made to our T&Cs, you agree to be bound by such changes. 

 

Conditions of Use for our Website 

  • You agree not to upload, post, email or otherwise send or transmit any malicious material. Malicious material includes software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, harm, damage, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software, hardware or equipment linked directly (or indirectly) with this website. 

  • You also agree not to interfere with the servers or networks underlying or connected to this website or our services. You agree not to violate any of the procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to this website.

  • You agree not to impersonate any other person while using this website. You will not conduct yourself in an offensive manner while using our website, or use the website for any illegal, immoral or harmful purpose.

Purchasing & Payments Terms

  • Once you have confirmed your order we will send you an email to acknowledge your purchase. This email will include a unique payment reference. 

  • We accept most major credit or debit cards, including Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, Mastercard & American Express. 

  • All payments are processed via Braintree secure payment gateway. They handle the payment for us and we do not gain access to your payment method or personal details, other than the delivery address.

  • 3D Secure adds an authentication step for all payments. This additional security measure is required to comply with PSD2, as part of EU law.

  • You can also complete your purchase using your PayPal account. Choose the PayPal option at the checkout to be redirected.

  • Sale prices cannot be applied retrospectively or held for items currently not in stock

Gift Cards & Credit Notes 

  • We only accept gift cards purchased directly from Rivet & Hide; no third-party gift vouchers are valid in-store or online. 

  • As standard, gift cards are valid indefinitely from the date of purchase (unless otherwise specified).

  • Credit notes, for exchanged goods, do not have an expiry date. 

  • We reserve the right to deny or cancel any gift cards or credit notes, where we suspect the voucher may be fraudulent.

  • Our gift cards and credit notes are valid for purchases either in-store or online. Each voucher will feature a barcode for scanning in-store, as well as a unique voucher code to enter online.

  • Please note that gift cards cannot be redeemed for items from XXX.

Discount or Promotional Codes

  • Discounts and promotions will be valid for a finite period of time, as specified upon release. We cannot honour promotional codes that are used after the expiry date.

  • Each promotional offer will have its own terms, which will be specified upon its issue.

  • Unless otherwise specified, discount codes cannot be used to buy gift cards or vouchers.

  • We reserve the right to deny or withdraw any discounts or promotional codes, with immediate effect. We may do so if we suspect that you have misused, shared, sold or otherwise abused the promotional offer.

  • Promotional discounts may be valid in-store or online, according to the specific T&Cs of each promotion.  

Shipping & Delivery Terms

  • We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible. 

  • We primarily dispatch via DHL, but may use Royal Mail at our discretion. 

  • We will email you once your order has been dispatched, via a secure, insured delivery method.

  • Dispatch and delivery times stated on the website are in no way a guarantee of when you will receive your order. All delivery times on our Delivery and Shipping page are based on approximations and average results.

  • We are not responsible for any delay in delivery due to third-party factors. See our Delivery and Shipping page for more information.


Cancellation & Returns Policy

  • If your order was placed online and you are based in the EU, you have the right to cancel your order with us - provided you give us written notice. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (ICACRs).

  • You may only use your right to cancel the order under the ICACRs if you give us formal written notice of cancellation. You must submit written notice any time after your order has been placed, up until 14 calendar days from the day after you receive your order.

  • Please note that you must cover the cost of the return shipment. We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods. You will be liable for any damage to the items until we receive them at our store.

  • All items must be returned unused, in their original condition, including tags and tickets. You must return any purchases from the same country to which the order was delivered.

  • If all of the above conditions are met, we will refund the full value of your order within 3 days of receiving the returned item(s).

  • This returns policy relates to all purchases made through the Rivet & Hide Ltd website and our physical stores. You may return items online or in store, within 21 days of delivery. See our Returns & Exchanges page for more information.

  • We may link User Material, or parts thereof, to other material. These links may include material submitted by other users of the website or created by Rivet & Hide Ltd and/or other third parties. 

  • We may use User Material for our internal business purposes. For example, we may use User Material to examine trends or categories and to feature those trends on the website or to promote, market or advertise Rivet & Hide Ltd.

(d) Your User Material does not identify any individual under the age of 18, by way of name, address, a still picture or video, or otherwise. If User Material identifies any individual over the age of 18, you have that person's consent to be identified in exactly that way in your User Material.

(e) In submitting your User Material, you are not impersonating any other person.

Your Online Account 

  • If you change address, you must update your address details in the relevant section of the website. If you fail to update your billing or shipping address, you are liable for any orders that are sent to the wrong address. 

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You are responsible for restricting access to your computer. 

  • To provide you with an easy-to-use service, Rivet & Hide Ltd will place a 'cookie' (a small text file) on any computer that you use to access the website. When you revisit the website, this cookie will enable us to recognise you as the account holder. Privacy and Security 

  • We have taken all possible measures to make the Rivet & Hide website as secure as it can be. To this end, the Rivet & Hide website is 100% secure.

  • All of our customers’ personal information is treated as confidential. It is kept on a secure server and complies fully with UK Data Protection legislation, including GDPR.

  • Through our third-party providers we will collect information about where you are on the internet e.g. IP address, URL you came from, the pages you viewed, the country and telephone area in which your computer is located, any adverts you may have clicked on.
