Japan’s Sugar Cane has been faithfully reproducing classic American workwear since 1975. Founded by Toyo Enterprise—originally a supplier to U.S. military bases in Japan—the brand was among the first to bring authentic selvedge denim to the Japanese market. Known for its meticulous construction, unique fabric blends (sometimes even using sugar cane fibers), and era-specific reproductions, Sugar Cane bridges post-war American style with Japanese craftsmanship.
