Dawson Denim

Founded by Kelly Dawson and Scott Ogden, Dawson Denim started life in 2012, crafting small-batch runs of selvedge denim from their UK atelier. Fast forward over a decade, and the Dawson Denim duo now work closely with some of Japan’s most esteemed mills and makers. Together, they’ve created a collection of vintage-inflected yet contemporary-leaning workwear staples—all underpinned by keen design and solid construction. Future classics that favour the timeless over the trending.

Kelly’s background lies in denim design and management, while Scott’s expertise is in mid-century furniture restoration and sourcing. Both are true denimheads, but they also share a passion for vintage motoring, riding 1950s Lambrettas and Vespas. Their logo—a magneto lever or cheese-head screw—pays homage to classic pre-1960s motorcycles. When not obsessing over denim, you’ll most likely find them at Goodwood Revival or browsing vintage record shops.
