Viberg’s Scout Boot is a stouter, more mobile adaptation of its 10” Logging Boot. It offers a relatively lightweight and comfortable style in a modern yet utilitarian silhouette. This exclusive Rivet & Hide variant adds a beautiful Brown Waxed Flesh into the mix - a tough, liberally waxed roughout hide with impressive depth of colour. The waxed tannage makes for a fiercely weather-resilient boot that will take on a tonne of character as it piles on the miles. The hide itself hails from Chicago’s Horween Tannery, another family-owned business that’s been doing its thing for five generations. Fitted with a slip-proof Vibram sole using Stitchdown construction.
Viberg boots are the end result of numerous hand-finished processes - from the tanning of the rare leathers to the free-hand trimming of the soles. They undergo strict quality inspections at Viberg's Victoria workshop and upon arrival here at Rivet & Hide. Any slight variations in colour and texture should therefore be considered a part of the boot’s unique character.
All boots ship with dust bags and a polishing cloth.
NB: The size you order will be the size stamped in the boots. Viberg fits more closely to UK rather than US sizing so please take this into account when making your choice. If you need any assistance with sizing, please reach out to us via email, we are always happy to help.
