Made in collaboration with artist, Björn Atldax, the Kapala is a bold, woollen tapestry depicting the Kapala. Sanskrit for “skull”. The Kapala is also a cup used in various tantric rituals. Historically, it’s also used to offer up body parts and the blood of your sworn enemies to wrathful deities. Nowadays, we mostly fill them with cookies and fruit. How times change.

All of Indigofera’s blankets are crafted in central Norway by a family-owned factory using premium, 100% wool. The factory has been weaving quality wool products for 80 years. They have a hand in every element of the making process, from the spinning and dyeing of the yarn to the weaving of the blankets themselves. Even the wool comes from sheep native to the area. Indigofera’s blankets are built to be lived and travelled in – take them on your wildest adventures or keep them for those quiet nights on the couch. The choice is yours.
