This denim is like no other. It was first developed for the iconic Fargo and proved so popular it is now available in other garments including these slim tapered Ray jeans. Made of 14 oz Japanese selvedge denim that has gunpowder constituents in the dye. It results in a black denim with an appealing sheen.
If Indigo is technicolor, the Gunpowder fabric is likea black and white photo, full of contrast and life. The rope dye does not penetrate the core of the warp that allows the white to come out in the same way as it does with Indigo dyed fabrics.
