The MR BLACK story was conceived in Melbourne in 2011, when a young denim enthusiast called Ash Black struggled to find a product on the market to wash his jeans in a manner that was kind to the denim and environment at the same time. Ash worked with some of Australia’s leading textile technologists to develop a formulation whose active ingredient was Forestall – a 100% biodegradable compound that, when vapourised, disperses dirt and neutralises odours. The end result is a product that will clean but help maintain the original colour intensity of your raw denim.
