The ultra heavy western flannel appears in a plain charcoal weave. The warp and weft are slightly different shades, giving the fabric a great depth of colour.
The flannel is brushed twice on the lining and once on the face. Aspero cotton is used to make the flannel. This is a wild cotton that is found in the foothills of North East Peru. It is wild and not farmed. As such it is is one of the most organic cottons available.
